The PFH 4 Gate Rap Rak is a dedicated descender or abseil device with a heap of options to add or remove friction as well as locking functions. It gives abseilers plenty of options which are useful on tricky canyons or abseils as well as rescue scenarios. Two of the gates are on pivots so can be added or removed from the system. Adding friction is particularly useful when there is extra weight from a large backpack or with a rescued climber on board. The rope lock-off function is particularly suited to rescue scenarios or when helping beginners.
